Trusting God during times of Political Uncertainty- "Christian-View Perspective"

Colossians 3:2-3 King James Version (KJV) "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth"... "For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God".
— Romans 13:1
— Daniel 4:17

In America there are concerns about political uncertainty, we all hope to vote for the right candidate to represent America with honesty, truth, and fairness. However, in the real world injustices are captured by many in the natural eye because of fear, race, and economics. One thing in America that remain unresolved concerning black issues such as "racial terror" police brutality, mass incarceration, economic and social inequality, rigged elections, Donald Trump - Elect, and President Obama.  The worldview perspective many thought that President Obama was the answer to all things that he would be the champion to ensure equality for everyone including blacks. But he failed in every measure leaving many blacks in poverty, inner city in ruins and despair. He refused slavery reparations for blacks in 2008, signed an Executive Order for reparations Jews, Native Americans and Philippians. He was also silent concerning the UN's committee request due to "racial terror" targeted against African Americans. The UN committee states, "In particular, the legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality in the United States remains a serious challenge, as there has been no real commitment to reparations and to truth and reconciliation for people of African descent," the report stated. "Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching.

Black people trusted Obama for change however President Obama betrayed black people in the most egregious fashion. Our nation's first black president and his complicated legacy come into sharper focus when it comes to race. Nearly 8 in 10 African Americans view him favorably, but far fewer see his presidency as having yielded the type of profound changes for black Americans that many once hoped. The black poverty rate was 25.8 percent in 2009 and had climbed to 27.2 percent five years later, according to the Pew Research Center. The earnings gap between blacks and whites is wider than it was in 1979, according to the Economic Policy Institute. As median incomes rose with the recovery last year, they went up more slowly for black people. Barack Obama is a registered Democrat and made a statement December 12, 2016, that his economic policies are "so mainstream" he'd be considered a moderate Republican in the 1980's, Where is the loyalty? Obama desire to portray a white man, Ronald Reagan, a Republican. When Ronald Reagan was President of the United States, African Americans ran into new dead ends under his administration, Obama is bragging about being like himPresident Ronald Reagan, elected to office in 1980, did much to vilify the urban poor, especially women, confirming the suspicions of many African Americans that the man who first came to blows with the Black Panther Party as governor of California would, as president, do little to improve conditions for blacks. The statistical comparison between Obama and Reagan, a Democrat and Republican reveals that America isn't a "colorblind society" and inherited racism is a major evil in America. The Christian perspective, The LORD looked and was displeased / that there was no justice” (Isaiah 59:14–15). God’s message for them was simple: “Learn to do right; seek justice. / Defend the oppressed.  Later, God tells them to “loose the chains of injustice” (Isaiah 58:6; cf. Psalm 82:3), indicating that injustice is a form of bondage and oppression.

America believes that they don't have to be expected to answer to a higher authority, expressing some hope that their silence would triumph over slavery and be rewarded over evil. Even though America believes that the evil characters who benefit from slavery are dead and it should remain buried. However, today  "racial terror" for blacks still remain alive today. Many Americans walk on this soil without any thought that many slaves bodies were lynched, tortured, murdered while they live on top of slaves unmarked graves. America punishment to ignore slavery is to be expected according to the laws of divine justice. Divine retribution supernatural punishment of a person, a group of people, or everyone by a deity in response to some action. The sight of God's supernatural works and retribution would mitigate against faith in God's Word Until Black America is treated with equality on all levels and America answer to the crime of lynching, slavery, mass incarceration, harassment, servitude system and poverty that is bestowed against blacks; justice isn't servedWithout justice America can't repair the damage it caused against the ancestors of slaves and not by an apology, that's not enough.

Over decades after decades advocates passionately fought for equality and died believing that the"Declaration of Independence"  included them. The Declaration of Independence was written by Christians and inspired by the Bible, "that all men are created equal" following the biblical principles to "love thy neighbor". However, we know these principles are not a true representative of AmericaAmerica has failed to be a country of equality by representing one supreme race, the white race. Therefore, since America was inspired by the Bible, we know that God is in favor of justice; we know that He is against injustice, even in the most basic terms. Justice is foundational to God’s throne (Psalm 89:14), and God does not approve of partiality, whether we are talking about a weighted scale or an unjust legal system (Leviticus 19:15). By these verses, America is failing God in many ways.    I am not religious however believe in the spirituality, the universe, deity, and a supernatural God. I believe that the slave's spirits still walk among America, and their souls are still unrest until justice is served on their behalf.

The 2016 election, I thought like everyone did; even to the wisest individual, of course, trusted media believed that Hillary Clinton would be the winner of this election. But God, choose Donald Trump to elect, Why? 1st of all God takes the foolish things in the world to confuse the wise (1st Corinth. 1:27). Secondly, God thoughts are not like our thoughts nor his ways are not like our ways. (Isaiah 55:8). God knows what is best for us and we experience "moral chaos" when we think we know more than God. (Romans 8:27-37 MSG). Could I accept that God chooses Donald Trump and blindly trust God's divine decisions? This election loss had a lot of people wondering just how much of a role God plays in appointing our leaders. Luckily for us, the Bible answers this question! Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

When man rejected God as a leader

From the beginning of time, the Israelites rejected God to be their King. As you read Samuel you will discover how the Israelites idolized man and denounce God to lead them. In 1 Samuel 8:5 the Israelites ask Samuel to appoint a king, saying, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.” Was this wrong? The following verses make it clear. Samuel was displeased and prayed to the Lord concerning the matter. God answered, “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you” (1 Samuel 8:7–8). God said the Israelites’ request was a rejection of Him, that they had forsaken Him and were serving other gods or idols. Later, Samuel gave a farewell speech that would also address this issue, saying, “I will call on the Lord to send thunder and rain. And you will realize what an evil thing you did in the eyes of the Lord when you asked for a king” (1 Samuel 12:17). The worst thing we can do is to put a man before God.

We all think that idols are handcrafted however modern idols can be anything we place ahead of God in our lives, anything that tugs at our heart more than God does, such as possessions, careers, politics, relationships, hobbies, sports, entertainment, goals, greed, people, addictions to alcohol/drugs/gambling/pornography, etc. Many of the things we idolize can be very good, such as relationships or careers only if we follow the scriptures which tell us that, whatever we do, we are to “do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31) and that we are to serve God only (Deuteronomy 6:13). Jeremiah 25:6 warns us.... and do not go after other gods to serve them and to worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will do you no harm.'
In conclusion, I accept who God is and his divine decisions, He is …the Most High has power over human kingdoms. He gives them to whomever he wishes.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for being who you are in my life even during the times I don't understand your divine decisions. You know what is best for this world and for me, therefore, I must trust in you and your divine wisdom. In Jesus Mighty Name Amen
